John Kabat-Zihn, the founder of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), a program that has encountered massive success in the medical setting, defines Mindfulness as: “Keeping one’s complete attention to the experience on a moment-to-moment basis in an open and non-judgmental way”.
Mindfulness tools are available for thousands of years and their efficacy is now proven by science. Companies like Google, General Mills, Goldman Sachs, Apple, Microsoft, Marriott, Nike have introduced Mindfulness training over the last 10 years in their leadership programs.
